SWIIM is a full turn-key solution – a crop planning, optimization, water management, monitoring and reporting toolset. A part of the offering includes software – two distinct programs:  SWIIM Planner and SWIIM Manager. These components work together, communicating with SWIIM Server, as a complete software package or as separate modules in order to meet the various objectives of growers and water managers.

SWIIM utilizes multi-patented, easy-to-navigate software for planning, optimizing and managing agricultural water rights held by irrigation districts, ditch companies, Native American communities or local agricultural cooperatives. SWIIM enables agricultural water rights owners to capture the economic benefits of managing water application with peak efficiency. SWIIM software models best practices to optimize water use and tracks savings within all elements of the crop water budget on an aggregated (system-wide) basis.

SWIIM is used on permanent and annual crops and is compatible with surface delivered water, groundwater (pipe) or a combination of both sources on one, or multiple fields. It works with furrow, sprinkler, drip or a combination of irrigation methods within an operation. The system works alone or integrates with common irrigation scheduling systems.

An easy-to-use interface designed for farmers, ranchers and other water right owners to optimize their farm income and water use. Co-developed under a multi-year research and development contract with the US Department of Agriculture, the system utilizes region-specific data, which is compared against real-life activities in the field.
